For QUT Students
The doctors and nurses of the QUT Medical Centre are always open to discussing and helping you with any of your mental health concerns - such as depression, anxiety or other concerns. We provide a safe, friendly, confidential and non-judgemental environment. QUT Medical Centre doctors can refer patients to Psychologists or Psychiatrists as appropriate. We also work in conjunction with the QUT Student Counselling Services.
For QUT Staff
QUT staff are able to access the QUT Employee Assistance Program (EAP) which offers staff four free confidential sessions with a Psychologist. Assure Programs has been a leading provider in the Employee Assistance field for over 10 years, they offer flexibility with regards to times to meet the demands of busy people and offer a choice of male and female counsellors. All counsellors are well credentialed and highly skilled.
